Eye Cleaning Wipes for Dogs & Cats (180 count)

When Oscar sees me taking these down off the shelf, he rushes over and sits down very obediently. He must recognize this gunk-be-gone by now. As you can see, he has a squashed in face but luckily, he doesn't produce that much eye gunk. Because the bridge of his nose is folded in and very short, its great to have these wipes to be able to get in there easily.

They are small, round, thin and moist. They come in a jar that can be resealed tightly to keep the moisture in. They are scentless. I'm sure some moisture is bound to get in his eyes and since he comes running towards it, not away, it must be non-irritating. Do they work better then a moistened paper towel? I think so. In fact, sometimes I'll moisten the gunk with these and then wipe it away with a DRY paper towel. That seem to grab and remove the gunk better than the wipes alone.

They are pricey but I think my little buddy deserves the bit of luxury these provide. After all, it's all about him, right?

So I have an old dog with crusty eyes I was going to use these on, but when I saw how big they are I knew it had to do the review using my cats for size.

These are tiny, about the size of an eye patch. I’m sure that’s big enough, but it was shocking when I truly appreciate how small they are.

The cats weren’t opposed to having their eyes wiped, but they also weren’t thrilled. I watched them for about 20 minutes after and they didn’t seem at all bothered. No rubbing their paws on their face or their face on anything else. The next day, they weren’t any more annoyed than the first, so I take that as an endorsement that it didn’t cause them any discomfort.

They're moist wipes that painlessly remove eye crusties, so I guess I have to give them 5 stars. Not really sure what else I could have expected from them.

I was a little nervous to get these because I’ve tried other eye cleaning products that have a little bit of scent. These have absolutely no sense. They’re perfectly moistened so that it’s not too much liquid, but just enough to soften up any debris around the eyes.

My little dog does not like anything near his face that has a scent. He really like these. I introduced them by just gently wiping above his eyes, and on the forehead, and then work my way towards the corners of the eyes where he needed some cleaning. He absolutely loved it rolled over on his back and pretended he was having spa time. I was able to use them to soften the debris and eventually clear it away gently.

Like any product to clean eyes, you have to be very gentle and patient because any dry debris needs to soften up to be wiped away. These absolutely work to clean up the eyes as long as you give them a few minutes.

I read the ingredients carefully before ordering and I’m confident that there’s nothing here that would irritate the eye. After use my dog had no issues. I will continue to use these because he is so happy with his spa time.
